What We Do

Most everyone knows that orthodontics is the profession that creates straight teeth and pleasing smiles.

Modern orthodontics has become better and more efficient at providing those smiles. In the current context of modern practice, significant attention is given to facial harmony, lip balance, and facial profile while creating a functional and healthy occlusion (bite).

Making a beautiful smile creates more than a pleasing look. It can add immeasurably to self-esteem and can have positive impact on many levels: both personal and professional.

Dr. Schleimer and his staff can offer a vast array of options in providing orthodontic treatment.

In most instances, conventional treatment is  performed with the very latest in small, low profile highly efficient braces that have been shown to reduce traditional treatment times by as much as 25%.

Esthetic appliances, clear aligners for minimal tooth positioning, surgical management of deficiencies of growth and development are all part of the services the office provides.

The office uses the newest "self-ligating" ultra-small braces and wire systems that speed treatment and reduce the number of visits. They increase the interval of time between visits too! Discomfort is reduced with these new technigues and appliances as well. GOOD NEWS!

DID WE SAY NO HEADGEAR?... YES IT IS TRUE, JUST CALL AND ASK US.

Did you Know?

  1. The American Dental Association recommends that children be examined by an  orthodontist at 7 to 8 years of age. This is the time when many tooth and Jaw problems begin to appear.

  2. Difficulty in nasal breathing, speech disorders and problems chewing and swallowing can be a result of problems of tooth position and jaw relationships. Orthodontics can sometimes make immense changes in these areas.

  3. Adults are taking advantage of orthodontics more and more each year. Nearly 25% of our practice is comprised of adult patients.

Our Practice is dedicated to the treatment of the patient as a whole:
  • Every smile is different, and the plan of treatment reflects our commitment to create personalized care.
  • Patients and their families are approached with respect. We realize your time and money are worthy of the care and attention we would like to receive if the "tables were turned".
  • Dr. Schleimer believes strongly in an integrated treatment protocol. Communication with other dental and medical professionals is maintained, to ensure treatment goals are in harmony with an overall plan of dental and medical health.
