Remembering Dr. Schleimer

Dr. David Schleimer had been in the exclusive practice of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in Contra Costa County since 1985. He was passionate about his practice and took great pride in the office which he designed in 1998. This design represented his love of the Arts and Crafts movement of architecture. His vision was to create a space where his patients would feel at home, at ease and personally cared for.

He loved to interact with his patients and families and was a firm believer in the notion that the doctor should spend quality time with the person attached to the teeth! His genuine interest in others and devotion to his own loving family produced an environment filled with stories and mutual updates.

Dr. Schleimer was a second generation orthodontist. His father and role model, Max Schleimer, DDS (1918-2010), practiced for 38 years and had been an orthodontic educator for over 20 years. With this inspiration, Dr. Schleimer built a community-oriented, family-centered practice that he ran with integrity, warmth and true devotion.
